About check-in time: The 4pm check-in gives our cleaners a buffer in case they hit any snags with scheduling or prep. We'll message you as soon as it's ready - sometimes that's earlier, but we can't guarantee it in advance.
Door Code
Your unique door code will be sent via your booking platform before arrival. It's typically the last 4 digits of your phone number. To unlock:
- Press the House Icon on the keypad to wake it
- Enter your 4-digit code
- The door unlocks automatically

You are my guest - you do not have a "chore list" like some other properties may request. My only ask:
- Secure trash in the shed (bear safety!)
- Lock the door behind you

Beds: Please do not strip the beds - we take care of that for you.
🚗 Parking
Park in the driveway - it fits 2 cars easily.
If you have an additional car, it can be parked on the street in front of the house.
🏠 The Space
Heating & Cooling (Mini-Split Units)
The home uses mini-split units for heating and cooling. They work great - they just need a few minutes to get going. Here's how to use them:
- Press the power button on the remote to turn on the unit
- Set your desired temperature
- Press the fan button until the fan speed is at the highest setting (all bars showing)
- Press Turbo or Powerful for faster heating or cooling
- Please wait about 20 minutes - the system works well, it just takes a little time to feel it in the big house
Tip: If the room doesn't seem to be heating or cooling, double-check that the fan is set to high and Turbo mode is on. These settings make a big difference!

Smart TV with Roku. To watch TV, switch the input to Roku using the TV remote. Sign into your streaming apps or use the free channels.

Guidelines
- Use only clean, dry firewood
- Keep fires small and attended
- Fully extinguish with water before going inside
- Observe any fire bans
🍖 Gas Grill
A gas grill is available for cookouts.
🐻 Trash - IMPORTANT
Bear Safety: Trash MUST be secured in the shed next door.
This area has bear activity. Unsecured trash will attract bears to the property.
How to secure trash:
- Put bagged trash in the shed next door
- Use the large board to fully lock the shed
- Make sure it's properly secured
Trash Pickup
- Day: Tuesday between 8-10am
- Cans: Located in the garage
- IMPORTANT: Do NOT put trash out until the morning of pickup because of bears

- Dogs welcome (with fee), no cats
- Trash must be secured in shed (bears!)

❄️ Snow Removal
The driveway is plowed automatically after storms.
